Affton Mothers’ Club 2012-2013 |  Last updated: January 10, 2014

Can you believe that ridiculously long winter break!  It is good to finally have to the kids back in school and everyone back to their routine.  The end of the school year will be upon us in just a blink of an eye.  But, for now, we still have a lot that needs to be done.  Our next big fund raiser is the Flea Market on March 1st.  The Flea Market is a great opportunity for the public, school organizations and crafters to come together to earn a little money in a fun environment.  This event requires a lot of help.  Please contact Sarah Hertel at 481-2913  if you are able to lend a hand for even just a little bit.

Our next meeting is February 6th at 7 p.m. in the library  at Rogers Middle School.  Childcare is provided!  Elections are coming so please consider a place on the Mc board.  We have several positions coming available including President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary and Website Administrator.  Many of the women who have worked so hard on this board have been in one position or another for a long time and are ready to hand over this wonderful opportunity to a new face.  ASMC is in dire need of volunteers, so please consider helping.  For several years the MC has been a very small group of all of the same women doing the work of many for our school district.  Without MC the school district would not have so many of the wonderful extras that we have provided.  This organization cannot continue unless we get more help.  It is really a very small time commitment considering all of the  amazing work that gets done.

We  have  several  committees that are in need of help.  Please consider what you can do to help your school district.  Make sure to contact the committee head if you  are able to help.

Butterbraid Sales - (Jenn Snethen)  Sale over.  Thanks for all the help!

Middle School Mixers (Lisa Jimas)  Next mixer January 24th at 7 p.m.
